摘要
城市是一个陌生人汇聚的场所,而借助火车等交通工具展开的城市旅行则为陌生人之间的相遇提供了独特契机。通过这种旅行叙事,城市社会的伦理与情感关系也折射了出来。在20世纪五六十年代的城市电影中,“火车旅行”提供了一个极富意味的叙事空间。“车厢社会”所显示的时代新风貌,有效荡涤了陌生人社会固有的紧张、疏离与不安,也在不经意间重写了“车厢艳遇”的叙事模式,克服了关于“城市性本质”的刻板印象,这些情况都使得“火车旅行”固有的伦理意义有了显著变化。通过作为“叙事装置”的“火车旅行”,我们能够窥探社会主义城市对“陌生人社会”进行伦理变革与情感想象的方式。
A city is a gathering place for strangers,and city travel through transportation such as trains provides unique opportunities for strangers to meet each other.Through this travel narrative,the ethical and emotional relationships of urban society are also reflected.In urban films from the 1950s to 1960s,“train travel”provided a highly meaningful narrative space.The new era style displayed by the“carriage society”effectively cleanses away the inherent tension,alienation,and anxiety of stranger society,and inadvertently rewrites the narrative mode of“carriage romance”,overcoming stereotypes about the“urban nature”.These situations have significantly changed the ethical significance inherent in“train travel”.By using“train travel”as a“narrative device”,we can glimpse the ways in which socialist cities undergo ethical changes and emotional imagination towards the“stranger society”.
