“Rural hollowing out”seriously restricts the overall revitalization of the countryside.Driven by the digital revolution and industrial change, some villages rely on digital technology to activate development potential, and realize the transformation and development of village“community generation”through the integration of endogenous power and characteristic resources.Based on the typical case of W village in Zhejiang Province, the analysis framework of village“community generation”is constructed to find the power mechanism of rural space reconstruction. It is found that the internal and external linkage of“delocalization”is the foundation and premise of community generation; In the dimension of material space, the benefit sharing and value recognition enabled by data elements are the core power of community generation; In the dimension of governance space, platform enabled organizational restructuring and collaborative governance are incremental mechanisms for community generation; In the dimension of social space, the relationship between digital mobilization and trust is the construction force to promote the formation of the community. The practical experience of W village provides innovative samples with both theoretical tension and practical value for the urban and rural integration development in the digital era.
