摘要
东汉译经中的“中”存在特殊用法,出现在“(于)NP(1)中VP”结构中,标记“NP”为“VP”的前置宾语或相关对象,词义可理解为“就……而言”“关于……”。梵汉对勘发现,标记宾语的“中”对应梵文(或巴利文)业格和具格,而方位词“中”对应梵文(或巴利文)依格、从格和具格。我们认为“中”标记宾语的特殊用法是难以自源的,推测标记宾语的“中”实为译者对汉语的错误理解,泛化使用了汉语方位词“中”,是临时的、偶发的、非标准的格标记。
There are special usages of the term"Zhong"in the Chinese Translated Buddhist Sutras in East Han Dynasty,which appears in the structure of"(Yu于)NP Zhong(中)VP"and marks"NP"as a prepositional object or related object of"VP".The meaning of the word can be un⁃derstood as"as far as...".Based on the comparison between Sanskrit and Chinese texts,it is found that the"Zhong"as the object marker corresponds to the Sanskrit accusative and instrumental cases,while the locative word"Zhong"corresponds to the Sanskrit locative,ablative and instrumental cas⁃es.And it is inferred that the"Zhong"as the object marker is actually a translator's misunderstand⁃ing of Chinese.It is the negative transfer from the source language in the translation process.
