Persistent lochia after childbirth is a common condition in obstetrics and gynecology.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)plays an important role in its prevention and treatment and has demonstrated good clinical efficacy.In order to better guide clinical diagnosis and treatment for both TCM and western medicine practitioners,the 2012edition of the Clinical Practice Guideline for Persistent Lochia after Childbirth with Traditional Chinese Medicine has been revised.Following scientifically rigorous development procedures,a total of 13 clinical questions have been proposed.Through processes of evidence retrieval,screening,synthesis,and grading,22 recommendations are ultimately formulated based on two rounds of expert consensus.
