摘要
目的 探讨社会隔离与抑郁症状之间的关联性及影响因素。方法 选取2020年中国健康与养老追踪调查数据中贵州、云南和广西3地的样本,使用SPSS 26.0进行统计分析,利用χ^(2)检验探讨社会隔离、孤独感的影响因素。采用SPSS宏程序Process中的Model 4来检验孤独感在社会隔离对抑郁症状影响的中介作用。结果 本研究纳入云南、贵州和广西地区1 038名60岁及以上老年人进行统计分析,发现该区域社会隔离发生率为32.37%;孤独感的发生率为35.55%;社会隔离与孤独感相关联(β=0.208,95%CI:0.134~0.282),与抑郁症状之间的关系不显著(β=-0.174,95%CI:-0.507~0.158);孤独感在社会隔离与抑郁症状的路径中起完全中介作用(β=3.725,95%CI:3.454~3.996)。结论 孤独感在社会隔离与老年人抑郁症状之间起着完全中介作用。应依托地域与民族特色,开展多样化文化活动,提升老年人的社会参与感和自我价值感,防止孤独感向抑郁症状转化,最终减少抑郁症状的发生。
Objective To explore the association between social isolation and depressive symptoms and its influencing factors.Methods Data of samples from Guizhou,Yunnan and Guangxi were extracted from the 2020 China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study(CHARLS).Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS 26.0.Theχ^(2) test was employed to investigate the influencing factors of social isolation and loneliness.Model 4 in the SPSS macro program Process was used to examine the mediating role of loneliness in the impact of social isolation on depressive symptoms.Results A total of 1038 elderly individuals aged≥60 years from Yunnan,Guizhou,and Guangxi regions were included in the statistical analysis.The incidence of social isolation in this area was found to be 32.37%,and the incidence of loneliness was 35.55%.Social isolation was associated with loneliness(β=0.208,95%CI:0.134~0.282),while its relationship with depressive symptoms was not significant(β=-0.174,95%CI:-0.507~0.158).Loneliness played a complete mediating role in the pathway from social isolation to depressive symptoms(β=3.725,95%CI:3.454~3.996).Conclusion Loneliness plays a complete mediating role between social isolation and depressive symptoms in the elderly.Based on regional and ethnic characteristics,diverse cultural activities should be carried out to enhance the elderly’s sense of social participation and self-worth,prevent the transition of loneliness into depressive symptoms,and ultimately reduce the occurrence of depressive symptoms.
