西藏特提斯喜马拉雅西段加当莫铅锌矿的发现及对区域矿产勘查的意义

Discovery of the Jiadangmo Pb-Zn deposit in western Tethyan Himalaya,Xizang,and its significance for regional mineral exploration

摘要 西藏特提斯喜马拉雅铅锌成矿地质条件优越,但目前已发现的铅锌矿主要分布在其东段。通过1∶50000矿产地质调查和地表工程揭露,在麻迦—萨迦—苦堆穹窿北侧加当莫地区新评价一处热液型铅锌矿,初步认为具有中型及以上矿床的资源潜力。加当莫铅锌矿矿体主要受北西—南东向压性断裂控制,形成于新特提斯洋闭合后的印度-欧亚大陆主碰撞造山成矿作用阶段。矿体厚度大,品位较高,延伸相对稳定,主要金属矿物为黄铁矿、方铅矿、闪锌矿及少量黄铜矿、黝铜矿、蓝铜矿、孔雀石等,非金属矿物为石英、绢云母、菱铁矿及少量方解石,发育硅化、绢云母化、黄铁矿化、碳酸盐化和褐铁矿化等围岩蚀变。热液成矿期铅锌矿化阶段发育大量含矿石英-菱铁矿脉,明显区别于特提斯喜马拉雅其他铅锌矿。该矿床的发现与报道拓宽了特提斯喜马拉雅铅锌找矿范围,为丰富和完善区域铅锌成矿作用提供了新案例,对深化特提斯喜马拉雅铅锌成矿理论及指导区域矿产勘查具有重要的科学和实践意义。 The Tethyan Himalaya in Xizang boasts favorable geological conditions for Pb-Zn mineralization;however,the Pb-Zn deposits discovered so far are mainly distributed in its eastern segment.Through 1∶50,000 mineral geological surveys and surfaceengineering exposures,a new hydrothermal Pb-Zn deposit has been evaluated in the Jiadangmo area north of the Majia-Sajia-Kuduidome.It is preliminarily considered to have the resource potential of a medium-sized or larger deposit.The ore bodies of theJiadangmo Pb-Zn deposit are mainly controlled by north-west to south-east trending compressional faults and formed during the maincollisional orogenic metallogenic stage of the Indian-Eurasian continent after the closure of the Neo-Tethys Ocean.The ore bodiesare characterized by large thickness,relatively high grade,and stable extension.The main metallic minerals include pyrite,galena,sphalerite,and small amounts of chalcopyrite,tetrahedrite,azurite,and malachite;the non-metallic minerals consist of quartz,sericite,siderite,and a small amount of calcite.Wall-rock alterations such as silicification,sericitization,pyritization,carbonatization,and limonitization develop well.During the Pb-Zn mineralization stage of the hydrothermal metallogenic period,a large number ofore-bearing quartz-siderite veins developed,which are significantly different from those of other lead-zinc deposits in the TethyanHimalaya.The discovery and report of this deposit have expanded the prospecting range for Pb-Zn in the Tethyan Himalaya,provided a new case for enriching and improving regional Pb-Zn metallogenesis,and hold important scientific and practicalsignificance for deepening the theory of Pb-Zn metallogenesis in the Tethyan Himalaya and guiding regional mineral exploration.
