摘要
文章从认知语用的角度探索国际英文媒体语料库中指类句的句法特征、功能机制以及其在跨文化传播当中所发挥的作用,围绕指类句的语言机制与语用功能展开系统分析,旨在揭示其在跨文化传播中的传播策略与意识形态建构功能。研究发现,指类句广泛采用一般现在时、零冠词复数名词、被动结构、对比结构、模态动词等语言形式,通过去具象化表达建构群体属性、文化对比与国家形象。这些指类句有效提升了语篇的普遍性、客观性与说服力,有助于传播特定国家立场与文明叙事,这种结构同时也强调语言形式与传播语境之间的协同机制,从而在语用与话语层面上起到了较强的跨文化传播作用。
This study focuses on exploring the syntactic features,functional mechanisms,and cross-cultural communicative roles of generic sentences in English media corpora from a cognitive-pragmatic perspective.It systematically analyzes the linguistic structures and pragmatic functions of generic sentences,aiming to uncover their strategic uses in cross-cultural communication and their role in ideological construction.The findings reveal that generic sentences commonly employ linguistic forms such as the simple present tense,zero-article plural nouns,passive constructions,contrastive structures,and modal verbs.These forms serve to de-individuate expression,thereby constructing group attributes,cultural dichotomies,and institutional identities.Such sentence patterns significantly enhance the generality,objectivity,and persuasiveness of discourse,facilitating the transmission of national positions and civilizational narratives.Furthermore,the study emphasizes the interactive mechanism between linguistic form and communicative context,and calls for greater attention to the crosscultural pragmatic functions and discursive power of generic sentences.This research contributes to a deeper understanding of how seemingly neutral linguistic forms serve ideological and strategic purposes in international discourse.
