This study examines the Tea Ancestor Festival of the Bulang ethnic group in Jingmai Mountain,Lancang Lahu Autonomous County,Pu'er City,Yunnan Province.Through field research and application of Randall Collins'Interaction Ritual Chain Theory, the paper analyzes this festival as a dynamic ritual system that facilitates functional evolution and practical significance in ethnic interactions. The research reveals that the Tea Ancestor Festival was originally a village-based ritual. With Jingmai Mountain's successful World Heritage Site designation and subsequent tourism development, this festival has evolved into a cultural platform for multi-ethnic participation. The Tea Ancestor Festival has evolved from traditional village rituals into a cultural adhesive through shared ritual symbols and celebratory spaces. This transformation fosters multi-ethnic engagement, emotional resonance, and cultural identity, providing concrete pathways to forge the sense of community for the Chinese nation.
