摘要
目前,关于地名“拉萨”(■■)来源的研究成果,多认为其源自“热萨”(■■,意为“山羊土”)。该文认为,“拉萨”一词的早期记载实出于《唐蕃会盟碑》中的“逻些”(■■),而非“热萨”。通过多语种文献的文本比较分析,该文指出,“拉萨”源于“山羊土”的观点仅见于公元11世纪后弘期以来的藏文古籍,并非唐代吐蕃时期固有的说法;现存唐代吐蕃时期的古藏文文献及新旧《唐书·吐蕃传》中,均未见将“拉萨”与“热萨”等同或混淆的记载。此外,《唐蕃会盟碑》所载“颇章逻些”(■■■■),与“颇章布达拉”(■■■■■)、“颇章赤则玛波”(■■■■■■)、“颇章哲合玛”(■■■■■)等,可能均指同一地点,即唐代吐蕃赞普的驻锡地。在唐代吐蕃及后世藏文文献中,当地名“拉萨”(■■)与“吉雪”(■■)并提时,二者与“颇章逻些”及“拉萨大昭寺”(■■■■■)均存在重要的历史渊源。对“拉萨”一词的来源进行梳理,不仅有助于理解唐代吐蕃赞普至后弘期汉藏民族在文化上的交往交流交融,也对铸牢中华民族共同体意识具有积极意义。
Most current research results on the place name“Lhasa”(■■)suggest that the term originates from“Ra Sa”(Mountain Goat Land)(■■).The author argues that the earliest record of the place name“Lhasa”is from the name“Luoxie”(■■)in the Tang-Tubo Alliance Stele,rather than“Ra Sa”.Through a comparative analysis of multilingual literature,the article posits that the academic view linking“Lhasa”to“Mountain Goat Land”only appears in Tibetan texts from the post-11th century during the Later Diffusion of Tibetan Buddhism and was not a convention during the Tang-Tubo period.Existing ancient Tibetan documents from the Tang-Tubo period and both the old and new“Tang Shu”contain no records equating or confusing the place names“Lhasa”and“Rasa”.Similarly,the place name“Po Brang Lha Sa”(■■■■)mentioned in the Tang-Tubo Alliance Stele has the same meaning as“Pobrang Potala”(■■■■■),“Pobrang Khritse Marpo”(■■■■■■),and“Pobrang Dragmar”(■■■■■),all referring to the residence of the Tubo Zanpus during the Tang Dynasty.When the place names“Lhasa”(■■)and“Skyi Shod”(■■)are compared in both Tang Dynasty and later Tibetan documents,they have significant historical connections with“Pobrang Lha Sa”(■■■■■)and“Lhasa Jokhang Temple”(■■■■■).The exploration of the origin of the place name“Lhasa”reflects the historical interactions,exchanges,and integration between Han and Tibetan cultures from the Tang-Tubo Period to the Later Diffusion of Tibetan Buddhism,it also has positive significance in strengthening the sense of community of the Chinese nation.
