摘要
《春秋》以一万八千字,现240年间天下诸事,其间寄寓着孔子经世先王之志。然而孔子著《春秋》既有避险畏难之情,又要为尊者讳、为贤者隐,是非难别、嫌疑隐晦之处多有所见。西汉《春秋》公羊学博士董仲舒从《春秋》笔法辞法嫌疑与前后矛盾之处入手,剖析其间的是非曲直与义理向背,助后学明圣人之意与《春秋》之旨。《春秋》的书法嫌疑,是《春秋》表达其思想意旨的方式方法及其张力所在。这种处理方式不仅让后人能够了解历史真相,同时让后人明白《春秋》笔法辞法嫌疑背后的《春秋》大义,认识到儒家政治伦理才是《春秋》所蕴含的根本意旨。
With 18,000 characters,The Spring and Autumn Annals records the events under heaven over a 240-year period,embodying Confucius'aspirations for governing the world in line with the principles of former emperors.However,when compiling the work,Confucius not only seeks to avoid risks and difficulties,but also follows the principle of concealing faults for the respected and the virtuous.As a result,the text is replete with ambiguous points where the right and wrong are hard to distinguish.Dong Zhongshu,a doctor of the Gongyang School of The Spring and Autumn Annals in the Western Han Dynasty,starts from the ambiguities in the writing techniques and rhetorical devices,and the inconsistencies of The Spring and Autumn Annals,and analyzes the right and wrong,as well as the alignment or opposition with justice and reason within the text,helping later scholars understand the intentions of the sage(Confucius)and the core message of The Spring and Autumn Annals.The ambiguities in the writing of The Spring and Autumn Annals are not only the means by which the text conveys its ideological tendencies,but also the source of its interpretive tension.This handling method can make the later generations understand historical truths and grasp the great principles behind these ambiguities in writing and rhetoric,and more importantly,realizing Confucian political ethics is the fundamental purpose contained in The Spring and Autumn Annals.
