摘要
中国近代教会幼儿师范教育的发展主要经历三个阶段:1889—1921年为初始阶段,1922—1936年为转型阶段,1937—1951年为曲折发展阶段。其发展特点表现在:办学形式逐渐多样化和系统化;办学理念逐渐中国化和本土化;学校管理逐渐制度化和规范化;课程体系逐渐科学化;理论学习与教育实践并重。中国近代教会幼儿师范教育的发展冲击了传统幼儿教育的观念,开创了中国幼儿师范教育发展的先河;取得了一些研究成果,推动了中国学前教育研究的发展;有助于中国女子的解放和启蒙,促进中国社会的进步。教会幼儿师范教育在教育动机、经费来源、招生来源等方面存在一些历史局限性。
The development of childhood normal education in modern China can be divided into initial stage(1889-1921),transition stage(1922-1936)and tortuous development stage(1937-1951).The characteristics of the development are more diversified and systematic form of school-running,localization of the concept of school-running,institutionalized and standardized school management,more scientific curriculum system and equal focus on theoretical learning and educational practice.The development has impacted the traditional concept of childhood education and created a precedent for the development of childhood normal education in China,has obtained some research progress and promoted the development of preschool educational research in China,and contributed to the liberation and enlightenment of Chinese women and promoted the progress of Chinese society.Nonetheless,there are some historical limitations of the development in educational motivation,funding source and enrollment source.
