During the recent ASEAN-China(Beijing Municipal Administrative Center)Trade and Investment Promotion Conference,Chatchai Viriyavejakul,Thailand’s ambassador to China,sat down with China Report ASEAN for an exclusive interview.He said that regional cooperation frameworks such as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership(RCEP)and the ASEAN-China Free Trade Area(ACFTA)3.0 have propelled Thailand-China collaboration towards immense potential in emerging industries such as new energy vehicles(NEVs),the digital economy,and green economy.Thailand is now striving to develop into an industrial hub for NEVs and clean energy in the ASEAN region while seeking closer cooperation with China to jointly build a more sustainable and resilient regional economy.
