数字化转型有利于拓展企业的创新边界吗?——基于专利合作网络视角

Is Digital Transformation Conducive to Expanding the Innovation Boundaries of Enterprises?——Based on the Perspective of Patent Cooperation Network

摘要 数字化转型背景下,专利合作网络以其独特的广泛连接性、高频互动特性以及显著的创新加速效应,成为拓展企业创新边界的关键力量。本文通过测度2013—2022年上市企业专利合作网络的中心性,深入考察了企业嵌入专利合作网络及其位势对数字化转型中创新边界拓展的影响机制。研究发现:专利合作网络中位势优越的企业能够显著推动创新边界的拓展;具体而言,企业通过嵌入专利合作网络拓宽了市场信息和技术信息渠道,增强了市场信息获取能力,有效利用数据要素并加速知识技术溢出,从而促进了数字化转型过程中的创新边界扩展;进一步地,对于信任程度较高、数字化水平较高以及高新技术行业的企业,专利合作网络的嵌入及其优越位势对创新边界拓展具有更为显著的正向效应。 In the context of digital transformation,patent cooperation networks have become a key force in expanding the boundaries of enterprise innovation due to their unique extensive connectivity,high-frequency interaction characteristics,and significant innovation acceleration effects.This article examines the centrality of patent cooperation networks among listed companies from 2013 to 2022,and delves into the impact mechanism of embedded patent cooperation networks and their positions on the expansion of innovation boundaries in digital transformation.Research has found that companies with superior positions in patent cooperation networks can significantly promote the expansion of innovation boundaries.Specifically,by embedding patent cooperation networks,enterprises have expanded their channels for market and technological information,enhanced their ability to obtain market information,effectively utilized data elements,and accelerated knowledge and technology spillovers,thereby promoting the expansion of innovation boundaries in the process of digital transformation.Furthermore,for enterprises with high levels of trust,digitalization,and high-tech industries,the embedding and superior position of patent cooperation networks have a more significant positive effect on expanding innovation boundaries.
