茅盾儿童文学的新文学立场及批评路径

摘要 五四时期儿童文学的理论探索聚焦于儿童叙事中自然性与社会性的统一,在文明转型的语境下,通过吸纳域外新质与重审传统资源的双重路径,构建兼具民族特质与现代精神的儿童文学形象。这一实践不仅重塑了中国儿童文学的学科形态,也深度参与了文学现代性的理论建设。受新文化运动的影响,茅盾自觉在新文学与儿童文学两个场域开展批评、翻译、创作工作,进而完成其带有鲜明烙印的文化选择。事实上,茅盾从思想、语言、审美等方面对儿童文学提出了具体的要求,开拓了不同于传统形态的儿童文学的学术范式。其围绕“儿童问题”的持续发问,逐步探索出中国儿童文学批评的标准、路径与方法。因此,总结茅盾儿童文学批评的经验,确立其民族性、现代性的批评话语体系,对当下中国儿童文学的主体性建构仍具有启发意义。 The theoretical exploration of children’s literature during the May Fourth Movement centered on the unity of naturality and sociality in children’s narratives.Against the backdrop of civilizational transformation,it sought to construct literary images of children that embodied both national characteristics and modern spirit through a dual approach of embracing foreign innovations and re-examining traditional resources.This endeavor not only reshaped the disciplinary framework of Chinese children’s literature but also played a significant role in the theoretical construction of literary modernity.Influenced by the New Culture Movement,Mao Dun actively engaged in criticism,translation,and creative writing across the domains of New Literature and children’s literature,thereby making a series of culturally distinctive choices.In fact,Mao Dun proposed concrete requirements for children’s literature in terms of ideology,language,and aesthetics,pioneering a scholarly paradigm distinct from traditional literary forms.His sustained inquiries into“children’s issues”gradually established critical standards,pathways,and methodologies for Chinese children’s literature.Therefore,summarizing the experience of Mao Dun’s children’s literary criticism and articulating a critical discourse grounded in both national identity and modernity continue to offer valuable insights for constructing subjectivity in contemporary Chinese children’s literature.
