二乙二醇二乙烯基醚的乳液共聚合成水性自消光乳胶研究

摘要 以苯乙烯(St)和甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)为硬单体,丙烯酸异辛酯(EHA)为软单体,丙烯酸(AA)和丙烯酸羟乙酯(HEA)为亲水单体,引入二乙二醇二乙烯基醚(DEGDE)作为交联改性单体,优化引发剂用量和改性单体加入方式,通过乳液聚合法稳定制备了具有相对高转化率的共聚物乳胶。在此基础上,系统研究了DEGDE含量对乳胶粒子结构、成膜表面形态和性能的影响。结果表明:随着DEGDE含量的提升,乳胶聚合物的交联度和亲疏水相分离程度同时增加,粒子干燥成膜后表面微观粗糙度提升,并呈现出明显的自消光效果。当DEGDE含量为总单体质量的20%时,乳胶在卡纸表面经异氰酸酯固化剂固化后所形成的涂层光泽度低至13.5GU(60°),相比于未改性样品降低了约300%,同时在卡纸上的附着力保持在90%以上,耐水性、抗回黏性能以及表面硬度则未发生下降,在纸张表面用水性哑光涂料领域具有良好的应用前景。 A copolymer latex with relatively high conversion was successfully synthesized via emulsion polymerization by optimizing the initiator dosage and the addition method of modifying monomer using styrene(St)and methyl methacrylate(MMA)as the hard monomers,2-ethylhexyl acrylate(EHA)as the soft monomer,acrylic acid(AA)and hydroxyethyl acrylate(HEA)as the hydrophilic monomers,and diethylene glycol divinyl ether(DEGDE)as the crosslinking monomer for modification.Based on the synthesis,the influences of DEGDE content on the structure of latex particles,morphology of latex films and the properties were systematically investigated.It was found that the increase on DEGDE content would result in the simultaneous increase on both the degree of cross-linking and the hydrophilic-hydrophobic phase separation of the latex polymer.The surface microscopic roughness of the latex film was then enhanced,exhibiting an obvious self-matting effect.At the DEGDE content of 20%of the total monomer mass,the gloss value of the latex coating on the cardboard substrate post-cured by the isocyanate curing agent decreased to 13.5GU(60°),representing a reduction of approximately 300%compared to the unmodified sample.Besides,larger than 90%of the adhesion on the cardboard of the latex film was maintained.The water resistance,anti-tacking property and surface hardness were not reduced.The latex is of good application prospect in the field of waterborne self-matting coatings for cardboard surfaces.
