摘要
在中国西南及长江下游三角洲地区9月或10月份的降水量及雨日比其邻近地区很显著的要多一些,我们称这些地方为有秋雨的地区.我们发现秋雨的起讫日期与亚洲南部上空急流的进退有关,与印度季风的进退也是有关的.
In September or October there are several regions in China in which both rainfall and rainy days are greater than during the adjacent months.Such regions are called antumn rainy areas,which situate principally at Western China and Yantze delta.It is found that the beginning and ending dates of autumn rainy periods are closely related to the advance of the jet stream over the Southern Asia.The retreat of Indian summer monsoon is also found to correspond with the end of autumn rainy period in China.
