This paper expounds the significance of strengthening the management of municipal engineering construction,summarizes the key points of management in the design stage,construction process and supervision work,and proposes specific strategies for strengthening the management of municipal engineering construction,such as improving the management mechanism of municipal engineering construction,formulating reasonable project construction goals,enhancing the design level of municipal engineering,and strengthening the implementation of on-site safety management and the guarantee of funds for engineering construction,etc.
