摘要
文化主体性作为中华民族在五千多年历史实践中生成的文化自主意识,是关涉中华民族自我认同和自我理解的关键范畴。近代以来,西方资本主义对外扩张导致中国深陷生存危机,文化主体性建构由此成为关乎民族存续的根本性问题。毛泽东在《新民主主义论》中提出“民族的科学的大众的”新民主主义文化纲领,首次系统回应“中国文化向何处去”的时代之问,开辟出文化主体性建构的科学路径。其建构逻辑是把握世界革命大势,坚守中华文明历史根基;依托科学理论指导,激活中华文明传统基因;凝聚人民身份认同,建构中华民族文化新形态。毛泽东关于文化主体性建构的理论与实践,不仅成为中国共产党文化建设的重要思想来源,而且为新时代深刻理解文化主体性的历史根基、增强文化自信、建设文化强国提供重要历史镜鉴与理论启示。
Cultural subjectivity,a sense of cultural autonomy generated by the Chinese nation over 5,000 years of historical practice of the Chinese nation,is key to national self-identity and self-understanding.Since modern times,the outward expansion of Western capitalism has plunged China into a crisis of survival,making the construction of cultural subjectivity a fundamental issue related to national existence.In On New Democracy,Mao Zedong proposed the cultural program of a“national,scientific,and popular”new democratic culture,which for the first time systematically responded to the question of the age“Where should Chinese culture go?”and opened up a scientific path for constructing cultural subjectivity.The logic of this construction lies in grasping the global revolutionary trend while upholding the historical foundation of Chinese civilization,revitalizing the traditional genes of Chinese civilization through the guidance of scientific theory,and consolidating people’s identity to build a new cultural form of the Chinese nation.Mao Zedong’s theory and practice of cultural subjectivity construction not only became an important ideological source for the CPC’s cultural development,but also provided valuable historical insight and theoretical inspiration for the new era to deepen the understanding of the historical roots of cultural subjectivity,strengthen cultural confidence,and advance the building of a culturally strong nation.
