摘要
本文所报道的植物化石,系1977年我所“辽西中生代地层专题研究小组”收集的。化石产于阜新市海州露天矿的阜新组。这些材料中,有两个新种显然应归属于吉林羽叶(Chilinia Lee et Yeh)的属,记述的新种是C.elegans和C.robusta。与它们共生的重要植物化石有:Neozamites lebedevii Vachrameev,Ctenis binxianensis Chang,C.lyrata Lee et Yeh,C.szeiana Lee et Yeh等。
This paper is to describe two new species of cycadophytic plants Chilinia elegans and C.robusta found from the coal-bearing beds of the Fuxin formation in Fuxin of Liaoning province.The genus Chilinia was established in 1964 by H.H.Lee et M.N.Yeh.It is,though similar to Ctenis in morphological features,different from the latter in that the segments are lacerate and directed forward.Its type species is Chilinia ctenioides Lee et Yeh.The present finding,no doubt,affords new evidence concerning the generic characteristics and leads support to the recognition that the Fuxin formation is of Lower Cretaceous in age.
