摘要
湘西南地区的中生代含煤地层和古生物的研究较少。近十年来,湖南省煤田地质勘探公司第三勘探队在本区做了大量工作,建立了系统的地层层序。1976年,中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所曾组队前往零陵、祁阳、衡南、蓝山、宁远、江永、道县等地进行野外实地调查,采集了大量动植物化石。
The“Mesozoic Coal Series”in southwestern Hunan actually comprises two parts:the Upper Triassic(i.e.Anyuan group or Yangbeichong formation)and the Lower Jurassic(i.e.Guanyintan formation or Shikang formation and Gaojiatian formation).This paper is to report the fossil bivalves collected fromthese form ations.All together,18 species and 8 genera are here described with 11 species and 3 genera considered as new to science.
