华南地区邵东组的珊瑚化石及其地质时代 被引量:10

摘要 近年来,我所石炭纪地层队在广东、湖南和广西等地(图1)陆续开展了石炭纪地层的系统研究,通过室内整理和化石的初步鉴定,对于上述地区石炭系的划分和对比有了新的认识。有关成果将陆续发表报道。本文着重描述邵东组的珊瑚化石,并论述其地质时代。化石大部分由石炭纪地层队采集,少量标本系湖南省地质局区测队和湖南冶金二四六勘探队提供。 The corals described in the present paper were chiefly collected in 1976 and 1977 from the Shaodong formation in Central Hunan;northern Guangdong and northern Guangxi.They,consisting of seven genera and fifteen species,may be differentiated into two assemblage zones:the lower one is called the Ceriphyllum elegantum assemblage zone,dominated by such endemic forms as Ceriphyllum and Complanophyllum;and the upper one,the Caninia dorlodoti assemblage zone,is characterized by the presence of Caninia patulaMichelin,Diphyphyllum antiquatum(sp.nov.)and Dematophyllum hunanense(gen.et sp.nov.),etc.The Shaodong formation with Caninia dorlodoti and Caphrentoides delanouei may correspond to the Etroeungt limestone of Western Europe,which is generally believed to be of early Lower Carboniferous age.Caninia dorlodoti,reported from Novaja Semlia is also of Lower Carboniferous age.Genus Ceriphyllum Wu et Zhao(gen.nov.)Type species:Ceriphyllum elegantum Wu et Zhao(gen.et sp.nov.)Diagnosis:Coral simple,small,conicocylindrical in shape.Epitheca generally thick Major septa long,usually shortened in the upper part of calyx.Minor septa absent.Cardinal and counter fossulae very prominent,occupied by progressively shortened cardinal and counter septa.Dissepiments slightly developed in late mature stage.Remarks:This genus stands nearest to Zaphrentoides in the general aspect,but differs from the latter in the presence of counter fossula and in the slightly developed dissepiments.Genus Complanophyllum Wu et Zhao(gen.nov.)Type species:Complanophyllum compressure Wu et Zhao(gen.et sp.nov.)Diagnosis:Coral simple,conical,but oblate in transverse section.Septa of two orders.Major septa distinctly symmetrically arranged,with their axial ends always extending to the central part,slightly reinforced by stercome and forming a pseudocolumella.Cardinal fossula very prominent.Counter septum slightly shortened.Dissepiments generally sparse,mainly angulo-concentrically arranged.Remarks:This new genus closely resembles Ceriphyllum,but differs from the latter in the shape of corallum and in the presence of pseudocolumella.It also shows a close similarity to Compressiphyllum from the Middle Devonian of North America,but differs from the latter in the presence of dissepiments and in the shortened counter septum.Genus Dematophyllum Wu et Jiang(gen.nov.)Type species:Dematophyllum minor Wu et Jiang(gen.et sp.nov.)Diagnosis:Corallum compound,partly phaceloid and partly cerioid.Corallites small.Septa of two orders.Major septa always bunched and meeting axially.Minor septa short,often inconspicuous;cystosepiment sparse,irregular,slightly developed in mature stage of corallites.Tabulae incomplete,slightly concave,gradually ascending toward the central part.Remarks:In the small corallites,the bunched septa and the character of tabulae,this new genus comes nearer to Donophyllum then any others,but differs in having irregularly polygonal corallites and rare cystosepiments.
