摘要
提高公司治理效率是推动企业数字技术创新发展的保障。以我国制造业上市公司2018—2022年的样本数据,检验数字背景高管对企业数字技术创新的影响及其作用机制。数字背景高管能显著提升企业的数字技术创新水平。数字背景高管通过降低管理层短视行为和提高企业数字资产配置效率,进而提升企业的数字技术创新水平。代理成本越低,数字背景高管对企业数字技术创新的提升作用就越显著。在高管激励程度较高和融资约束程度较低的企业中,数字背景高管对企业数字技术创新水平的促进作用更为显著。深入探究数字背景高管对企业数字技术创新的影响,不仅丰富了高管优质背景和经历的研究视角,而且为企业如何提高其数字技术创新水平提供现实的依据。
Improving the efficiency of corporate governance is the guarantee to promote the development of enterprise digital technology innovation.Based on the sample data of China’s listed manufacturing companies from 2018 to 2022,this paper tests the impact of digital background executives on enterprise digital technology innovation and its mechanism.Digital background executives can significantly lift the level of digital technology innovation of enterprises by reducing short-sighted behaviors of management and improving the efficiency of digital asset allocation.The lower the agency cost,the more significant the promotion effect of digital background executives on enterprise digital technology innovation.In enterprises with higher executive incentive and lower financing constraints,the promotional effect of digital background executives on the level of enterprise digital technology innovation is more significant.By exploring the impact of digital background executives on enterprise digital technology innovation,the study not only enriches the research perspective of executives’high-quality background and experience,but also provides a practical basis for enterprises to improve their digital technology innovation level.
