摘要
针对间规聚苯乙烯(sPS)韧性不足冲击强度低的缺点,采用增韧剂氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯嵌段共聚物(SEBS)和成核剂对其进行改性研究,并采用双螺杆挤出机熔融挤出制得增韧型sPS复合材料。首先考察了两种不同型号的增韧剂SEBS以及不同用量对sPS复合材料拉伸强度、断裂伸长率、冲击强度的影响;其次,在综合性能最好的增韧型sPS复合材料中,引入两种不同的成核剂,考察成核剂种类及用量对韧性、结晶性能的影响;最后采用X射线衍射仪(XRD)和扫描电镜(SEM)对增韧型sPS复合材料的微观形貌进行了表征。结果表明,两种不同型号的增韧剂(SEBS)用量在0~25 phr范围内,增韧型复合材料的韧性随其用量的增加均逐渐提高;在增韧剂添加量超过15 phr时,YH503T的增韧效果要优于G1651;添加成核剂的增韧型sPS复合材料,成核剂的种类和用量对其晶型结构和缺口冲击强度有很大影响,NAB-82成核剂能够促进sPS结晶产生更多β晶型,添加0.6 phr其增韧效果最佳达到22 kJ/m^(2),缺口冲击强度提高30%左右,而NAA-3成核剂能够使sPS结晶产生更多α晶型,提高sPS刚性,但使冲击强度显著下降,为平衡材料的刚性与韧性,其添加量应控制在0.4%以内。
In view of the lack of toughness and low impact strength of syndiotactic polystyrene(sPS),the toughening agent hydrogenated styrene-butadiene block copolymer(SEBS)and nucleating agent were used to modify sPS,and the toughened sPS composites were prepared by the melt extrusion with a twin-screw extruder.Firstly,the effects of two different types and dosages of SEBS toughening agents on the tensile strength,elongation at break and impact strength of sPS composites were investigated.Secondly,two different nucleating agents were introduced into the toughened sPS composites with the best comprehensive properties.The effects of the types and amounts of nucleating agents on toughness and crystallization properties were investigated.Finally,the micro-morphologies of toughened sPS composites were characterized by X-ray diffractometer(XRD)and scanning electron microscope(SEM).The results show that when the dosages of two different types of toughening agents(SEBS)are in the range of 0-25 phr,the toughness of toughened composites increases gradually with the dosage increase.When the amount of toughening agent is more than 15 phr,the toughening effect of YH503T is better than that of G1651.For toughened sPS composites with nucleating agents,the types and amounts of nucleating agents have great influence on their crystallization properties and notch impact strengths.NAB-82 nucleating agent can promote the crystallization of sPS to produce more β crystal forms.The toughening effect(22 kJ/m^(2) )is the best when 0.6 phr NAA-3 nucleating agent is added,and the notch impact strength is increased by about 30%,while NAA-3 nucleating agent can make sPS crystal produce more α crystal forms and improve the rigidity of sPS.However,the NAA-3 nucleating agent decreases the notch impact strength.To balance the rigidity and toughness of the materials,the addition amount of NAA-3 nucleating agent should be controlled within 0.4%.
