摘要
为纯化过模高功率微波产生器的输出模式,采用双腔结构进行了模转设计。通过理论分析,研究了双腔模转的结构参数对转换效率的影响,并研究了混合模式中TM_(01)和TM_(02)的占比关系对转换效率的影响。基于以上分析,优化设计了双腔模转结构。并通过粒子模拟程序,对带有双腔模转的过模产生器一体化结构进行了研究,分析了该结构在不同电压下的输出性能,另外还分析了模转结构中传输模式的转换过程。在该模转作用下,模式转换效率达到99%,仿真结果验证了该模转的有效性,可为一体化高功率微波产生器的实验研究提供参考。
To purify the mixed output modes in an overmoded high power microwave(HPM)generator,a dual-cavity mode convertor(DMC)is designed.The influence of structural parameters on the conversion efficiency is analyzed theoretically.The influence of structural parameters on conversion efficiency is investigated,along with the impact of the ratio between TM_(01) and TM_(02) modes in the mixed modes on conversion efficiency.Based on these analyses,the structure of DMC is optimized accordingly.And the performance of the whole device with both generator and DMC is researched using particle-in-cell(PIC)simulations.The output results under various diode voltages are studied.Additionally,the mode conversion process within the DMC is examined.The results show that the conversion efficiency can reach 99%,demonstrating the feasibility of the designed DMC,which provides a good basis for the further experimental research.
