数字经济能提高我国的外贸竞争力吗?

摘要基于2013—2022年中国30个省级行政区的面板数据,构建省域层面的数字经济综合发展指数体系和数字化创新潜力水平指数体系,利用熵值法测算指标权重,直观展示各省级行政区近十年的数字经济发展水平及数字化创新潜力水平。在此基础上,运用面板模型及中介效应模型进行实证分析,探讨数字经济对外贸竞争力的影响并识别其作用机制。研究发现:各省域的数字经济发展水平和数字化创新潜力水平存在着明显差异;通过稳健性检验可知,数字经济对外贸竞争力有显著的正向影响;数字化创新潜力作为“中介变量”在数字经济赋能外贸竞争力的过程中发挥重要作用。持续开展有组织有质量的数字创新、培育差异化数字产业集群、优化升级数字化基础设施,是数字经济赋能外贸竞争力提升的有效路径。 Based on the panel data of provincial-level administrative regions in China from 2013 to 2022,a comprehensive digital economy development index system and a digital innovation potential level index system at the provincial level were constructed.The entropy method is used to calculate the index weight,and the level of digital economy development and digital innovation potential of each province in the past ten years is intuitively displayed.On this basis,the panel model and the mediation effect model are used to conduct empirical analysis to explore the impact of digital economy on foreign trade competitiveness and identify its mechanism.There are obvious differences in the level of digital economy development and digital innovation potential among provinces.Through the robustness test,the digital economy has a significant positive impact on the competitiveness of foreign trade.The potential of digital innovation,as an intermediary variable,plays an important role in the process of empowering foreign trade competitiveness in the digital economy.Continuously carrying out organized and quality digital innovation,fostering differentiated digital industry clusters,and upgrading digital infrastructure,is the effective paths to empower the trade competitiveness with digital economy.
