摘要
通过深度访谈美国印第安纳州资深针灸从业者Jennifer Stone,结合区域政策与临床实践分析,考察中医针灸在美国中西部地区的传播现状与障碍。受自然地理封闭性、政策法规限制、民众文化认同薄弱及医疗体系结构性壁垒等因素制约,美国中西部地区针灸发展显著滞后于东西海岸区域。然而,当地患者的积极疗效反馈以及教育体系的改进,显示了针灸在该区域进一步传播的潜力。研究在一定程度上填补了美国中西部地区中医跨文化传播的实证空白,为推动传统医学与现代医疗体系的融合提供策略依据,对全球化语境下传统医学传播模式的完善具有方法论参照价值。
Through in-depth interviews with a senior practitioner Jennifer Stone in Indiana,USA,combined with analysis of regional policies and clinical practice data,the paper examines the dissemination status and barriers to Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)acupuncture in the Midwestern USA.Key findings reveal that acupuncture development in the area significantly lags behind coastal regions due to geographic isolation,regulatory constraints,weak public cultural acceptance,and structural barriers within the healthcare system.However,positive patient outcomes and incremental educational reforms indicate substantial growth potential.The study fills an empirical gap in cross-cultural TCM transmission within the Midwestern USA and offers actionable strategies for overcoming systemic integration challenges.It provides transferable insights for global traditional medicine dissemination models.
