摘要
尽管隐喻对中医概念的塑造作用已被逐渐认识,但现有翻译研究多聚焦于具体策略和技法的探讨,少有从隐喻价值出发讨论隐喻喻体取舍的依据。“中医术语隐喻”和“中医术语翻译”仍未真正结合起来。本文首先回到问题的本体,深入探讨中医哲学中的隐喻传统,阐释隐喻在中医术语形成和认知建构中的核心作用,并强调在翻译过程中重构中医术语隐喻价值的重要性。其次,回顾现有翻译研究中对中医术语隐喻的认识和应用现状。最后,针对中医术语翻译中隐喻价值的重构展开论述,分析这种价值重构如何影响中医术语隐喻在翻译中的喻体取舍问题,并据此设计翻译技术路径,从而为中医术语翻译策略的选择提供些许参考。
The role of metaphor in shaping Chinese medicine concepts has been increasingly recognized,yet existing translation studies tend to focus on specific strategies and techniques,with little discussion of the basis for the selection of metaphorical vehicles from the perspective of metaphorical value.The integration of“metaphors in Chinese medicine terminology”and“translation of Chinese medicine terminology”has not been fully achieved.This paper first goes to the core of the matter and delves into the metaphorical tradition within Chinese medicine philosophy,elucidating the crucial role of metaphor in the formation of Chinese medicine terminology and the construction of cognitive frameworks and emphasizing the importance of reconstructing the metaphorical value of Chinese medicine terminology in the translation process.Then,it reviews the current understanding and application of metaphors in Chinese medicine terminology within translation studies.It then discusses the reconstruction of the metaphorical value in the translation of Chinesemedicine terminology,analyzes how the revaluation impacts the selection of metaphorical vehicles in translation,and designs a translation technical path based on the analysis,thereby providing some reference for the selection of translation strategies for Chinese medicine terminology.
