铝溶胶对热工窑炉用镁铝质泡沫陶瓷性能的影响

Effect of aluminum sol on properties of magnesia-alumina foam ceramics for industrial kilns

摘要 为了提高热工窑炉的保温效果,降低窑炉外壳温度,以中档镁砂细粉、煅烧氧化铝细粉为原料,油酸钾(PO)为发泡剂,铝溶胶为固化剂,制备镁铝质泡沫陶瓷。通过FT-IR、SEM等测试方法,研究了油酸钾(PO)的发泡性能及铝溶胶对泡沫料浆和泡沫陶瓷性能的影响。结果表明,油酸钾(PO)含量增加,颗粒的疏水性和料浆的发泡性能提高。铝溶胶能够降低料浆的黏度,有利于料浆的浇注成型,铝溶胶含量大于1.5%,出现排水现象。随铝溶胶含量增加,烧后试样的显气孔率降低,体积密度、耐压强度增加,与未添加铝溶胶试样相比,气孔数量减少,尺寸增大,气孔形状为封闭圆形气孔。 To enhance the thermal insulation effect of industrial kilns and reduce shell temperatures,magnesia-alumina foam ceramics were prepared using medium-grade magnesia fine powder and calcined alumina fine powder as raw materials,potassium oleate(PO)as a foaming agent,and aluminum sol as a curing agent.The foaming performance of potassium oleate(PO)and the effects of aluminum sol on the properties of foam slurry and foamed ceramics were investigated through FTIR,SEM,and other testing methods.The results indicated that increasing the content of potassium oleate(PO)enhances particle hydrophobicity and slurry foaming performance.Alumina sol reduces slurry viscosity,facilitating casting and molding.When its content exceeds 1.5%,water separation phenomenon occurs.With increasing alumina sol content,the apparent porosity of sintered samples decreases,while bulk density and compressive strength increase.Compared with samples without alumina sol addition,the number of pores decreases,but their pore size increases,with the pores exhibiting closed spherical shapes.
