On September 3,2025,heads turned to Beijing for a grand military parade marking the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.Such events often highlight military strength,but this commemoration sought to project a deeper message:remembrance of sacrifice,recognition of the immense costs of conflict,and a renewed commitment to peace.
