摘要
针对采用ω燃烧室的重型商用车点燃式甲醇发动机热效率偏低的问题,基于某13 L甲醇发动机开展优化研究。将原ω燃烧室重新设计为屋脊型结构,将螺旋涡流气道改为高滚流气道,并对活塞顶进行适应性调整;同时根据甲醇特性重新设计了凸轮型线、冷却水套、进排气系统,并匹配了专用增压器。采用CAE分析工具对设计方案进行验证。结果表明:优化后发动机有效热效率由42.0%提升至50.2%,提升了8.2个百分点,相对提升率达19.5%。
To address the low thermal efficiency of a heavy-duty spark-ignition methanol engine with anω-type combustion chamber,an optimization study was conducted based on a 13 L methanol engine.The combustion system was redesigned by replacing theω-type chamber with a pent-roof configuration,converting the helical swirl intake port to a high-tumble flow design,and modifying the piston crown accordingly.Additional enhancements included redesigning the cam profile,cooling water jacket,intake/exhaust systems,and matching a dedicated turbocharger based on methanol fuel characteristics.The optimized design was validated using CAE analysis.Results demonstrated that the brake thermal efficiency improved from 42.0%to 50.2%,achieving an 8.2-percentage-point increase with a relative improvement of 19.5%.
