摘要
在教育强国战略深入推进的时代背景下,青少年的全面发展愈发成为国家教育现代化的重要议题。为探究短视频等社交媒介对乡村青少年成长发展的影响,该研究以中部地区北乡青少年短视频使用的田野资料为基础,采用质性研究方法进行深入分析。发现乡村青少年对短视频依赖并非限于娱乐与消遣,更是在资源、陪伴与引导匮乏等结构性因素影响下生成的栖居选择。具体而言,乡村青少年与时空境况合力筑造下,短视频承载了不同于学校时空结构的“让栖居”内涵;乡村青少年于其中以“去学生化”的方式存在。短视频中算法驱动的共鸣在持续吸引乡村青少年栖居的同时,也深刻重塑了他们的价值趋向。数字栖居展现了数字时代乡村青少年对自我存在与世界联结的主动探寻,凸显了他们在教育照护缺失背景下的身份挣扎,为乡村教育实践提供了现实依据与理论启示。同时也对当前以算法为中介的世界中教育如何有效回应乡村青少年需求并促进其发展提出了新的挑战与省思。
In the era of deepening the national strategy for building a strong education system,the holistic development of adolescents has increasingly become a central concern in China’s pursuit of educational modernization.To explore the impact of short-form video and other social media on the growth and development of rural adolescents,this study draws on fieldwork data collected from youth in Beixiang,a rural area in central China,and employs qualitative research methods for in-depth analysis.This study reveals that rural adolescents'dependency on short-form video extends beyond mere entertainment and leisure,it constitutes a form of dwelling shaped by structural conditions such as the lack of resources,companionship,and educational guidance.Specifically,co-constructed by rural adolescents and their spatiotemporal circumstances,short-form video platforms carry connotations of“letting-dwell”distinct from the temporal-spatial structures of formal schooling,while providing“de-studentized”mode of existence for rural adolescents.In this process,algorithm-driven digital resonance not only captivates rural adolescents but fundamentally restructures their axiological orientations.Digital dwelling demonstrates the active exploration by rural adolescents of self-identity and world connection in the digital era,highlighting their struggles with identity in the absence of adequate educational care,offering empirical foundations and theoretical insights to guide media education practices for rural youth.It simultaneously raises new challenges and prompts critical reflections regarding how education can effectively respond to the needs of rural adolescents and promote their development in today’s algorithm-mediated world.
