烧结助剂对堇青石-莫来石陶瓷膜支撑体的制备及性能影响

Influence of Sintering Additives on the Preparation and Properties of Cordierite-Mullite Ceramic Membrane Supports

摘要 以堇青石熟料、高岭土、氧化铝为原料,通过原位合成莫来石结合堇青石,添加不同的烧结助剂(二氧化钛、滑石、硼酸),制备堇青石-莫来石复相陶瓷膜支撑体,测试其制品的各项性能,并采用XRD、SEM分析样品的物相组成和显微结构,考察不同的烧结添加剂对莫来石复相陶瓷膜支撑体的烧结性能和水通量的影响。研究发现,加入1.0%滑石对样品吸水率的降低效果最为显著,且体积密度明显增加,水通量有大大减少。气孔尺寸为3~4μm,六方柱状堇青石轮廓清晰,原位合成的莫来石呈颗粒状,分散在堇青石孔隙,起到一定的连接作用,试样中气孔尺寸明显变大,但气孔率降低,烧结助剂对堇青石-莫来石陶瓷膜孔结构的孔径大小调控和分布有着显著的效果。加入滑石的样品水通量为227.4~289.8 L/(m^(2)·h),满足陶瓷膜支撑体的应用需求。 This study uses cordierite clinker,kaolin,and alumina as raw materials to synthesize mullite combined with cordierite through in-situ mullite formation.The cordierite-mullite composite ceramic membrane supports were fabricated with different sintering additives(TiO2,talc,and boric acid)and the various properties of the products were tested.The samples were characterized by XRD and SEM to analyze phase composition and microstructure while evaluating the effects of different sintering additives on the sintering performance and water flux of mullite composite ceramic membrane supports.Research has found that the addition of 1.0%talc has the most significant effect on reducing the water absorption rate of the sample,significantly increasing the bulk density and greatly reducing the water flux.The pore size is 3~4μm,and the contour of hexagonal cordierite is clear.The in-situ synthesized mullite is in granular form and dispersed in the pores of the cordierite,playing a certain connecting role.The pore size in the sample significantly increases,but the porosity decreases,verifying the significant effect of sintering additives on controlling and distributing the pore size of the cordierite mullite ceramic membrane structure.The water flux of the sample with added talc is 227.4~289.8 L/(m^(2)·h),which meets the application requirements of ceramic membrane supports.
