摘要
远在十九世纪晚年和二十世纪初叶,以德国学者李希霍芬和美国学者维理士为首的外国地质工作者,即曾对中国的地质构造进行初步分析和研究,发表了在当时被认为水平很高的总结性论文。由于所掌握的资料极度贫乏,他们的结论和推论,纵然对后来的工作有一定的参考价值,但是今天看来许多结论是笼统的,片面的,甚至错误的。
