摘要
中国饮食文化历史悠久,与特定地区的自然地理和历史记忆息息相关。饮食纪录片以食物作为媒介构建了一个丰富又极具历史底蕴的文化景观,得以承载和传播地方文化。研究以豆瓣观众对《风味原产地》系列纪录片的评论为文本,通过评论与纪录片内容的互文,分析影片中的食物与地理元素的勾连是如何表征和建构观众的地理想象。研究发现:首先,纪录片中的食物元素作为观众地理想象的微观表征将地理景观“食物化”,形成观众对该地区的初步认知;其次,食物在构建观众地理身份认同中扮演了关键角色,不仅将游子精准锚定回故乡的地域和文化中,还帮助异乡人建构起对异地的文化认同感;最终,饮食纪录片以“饮食共同体”的形式呈现出一个极具地域内部一致性又具地域间差异性的中国地理想象。研究揭示了地方饮食如何通过媒介汇聚成国家认同的微观基础,更凸显了饮食纪录片在构建中国多元一体的文化图景中的独特价值。
Chinese culinary culture has a long history and is deeply intertwined with the natural geography and historical memory of specific regions.Food documentaries use cuisine as a medium to construct a rich and historically profound cultural landscape,thereby carrying and disseminating local culture.This study takes the Douban audience reviews of the Flavorful Origins documentary series as textual data.Through the intertextuality between the reviews and the documentary content,it analyzes how the connection between food and geographical elements in the films represents and constructs the audience’s geographical imagination.The research findings are as follows.Firstly,the food elements in the documentaries serve as micro-representations of the audience’s geographical imagination,transforming geographical landscapes into“edible”form,shaping the audience’s initial perceptions of a region.Secondly,food plays a crucial role in constructing the audience’s geographical identity,it not only precisely anchors wanderers back to the regional and cultural context of their hometown but also helping outsiders build a sense of cultural identity with unfamiliar places.Finally,the food documentaries present a geographical imagination of China in the form of a“culinary community”,which is highly consistent within region but also distinctly diverse across regions.The study reveals how local cuisines converge through media to form the micro-foundation of national identity,further underscoring the unique value of food documentaries in constructing China’s pluralistic yet unified cultural landscape.
