摘要
“坚持我国宗教中国化方向,积极引导宗教与社会主义社会相适应”,这是马克思主义宗教理论不断时代化中国化进程中的重大创新。在学理层面,它包含两个根本问题,即宗教与社会主义、宗教与中国的关系问题。在中国具体的宗教实际内回答“宗教与社会主义”关系之问、“宗教与中国”关系之问,是中国化马克思主义宗教学的核心问题,是推动中国自主的宗教学知识体系建设的内在动力。建国以来,作为宗教工作“三支队伍”中的宗教学研究队伍,秉持开拓、独立的学术精神,呼应着中国共产党自主的宗教理论形成、创新和发展。吕大吉和牟钟鉴两位先生接受新中国的文化教育,在改革开放时期迸发出学术创造力,是中国特色的宗教学知识生产和理论创新的重要代表。他们在中国社会科学院世界宗教研究所和中央民族大学这两所新中国创办的文化教育机构里,艰辛地进行中国化马克思主义宗教学的当代探索。在回答“宗教与社会主义”“宗教与中国”关系之问的过程中,他们坚持回到马克思主义的经典原著,探究原原本本的马克思主义宗教观;他们坚持实事求是的原则,为中国共产党自主的宗教理论进行深入、系统的学理阐述;他们积极开放地吸收国际宗教学前沿知识,为中国自主的宗教学知识体系构建探寻人类优秀文明成果。他们的学术探索,表明中国化马克思主义宗教学所具的三重视野:马克思主义的立场观点方法;积极开放地吸收国际宗教学前沿成果;立足中国宗教工作实践,与中华优秀传统文化相结合。深化这三重视野之间的交叉融合,为中国特色社会主义宗教理论提供系统的学理阐释,仍然是未来中国化马克思主义宗教学建设的深层动力。
“Upholding the direction of the Sinicization of religion in China and actively guiding religion to adapt to socialist society”represents a major innovation in the ongoing process of adapting Marxist religious theory to the Chinese context and the needs of the times.At the theoretical level,this involves two fundamental questions:the relationship between religion and socialism,and the relationship between religion and China.Addressing these issues within the specific context of religion in China lies at the core of Sinicized Marxist religious studies and serves as an internal driving force for building an autonomous Chinese system of religious knowledge.Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the religious studies community—one of the“three key teams”in religious work—has upheld a spirit of academic independence and innovation,responding to the Chinese Communist Party’s efforts to develop an independent and evolving religious theory.LüDaji and Mou Zhongjian,both products of the cultural and educational system of New China,emerged during the reform and opening-up era as prominent representatives of knowledge production and theoretical innovation in Chinese religious studies.Working within institutions such as the Institute of World Religions at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Minzu University of China—both established in the early years of the PRC—they undertook challenging yet pioneering explorations of Sinicized Marxist religious studies.In addressing the questions of“religion and socialism”and“religion and China,”they consistently returned to the Marxist classics to study religion in its original theoretical context;adhered to the principle of seeking truth from facts in elaborating the CCP’s autonomous religious theory;and actively engaged with cutting-edge international scholarship to draw on the fruits of global civilizations for building a Chinese system of religious knowledge.Their work demonstrates that Sinicized Marxist religious studies operate within three interrelated perspectives:the standpoint,viewpoint,and methodology of Marxism;an open engagement with international religious studies scholarship;and a firm grounding in China’s religious reality and traditional culture.Deepening the integration of these three dimensions remains a vital driving force for advancing theoretical elaboration within the framework of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
