Objective:To analyze the influence of negative pressure wound care on wound healing in patients undergoing general surgery. Methods:A total of 90 patients who received surgical treatment in the Department of Surgery at Tengzhou First People's Hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the observation objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into two groups, with 45 cases in each group. The control group received conventional wound care, and the observation group received negative pressure wound care. The wound healing time, pain degree, nursing satisfaction and incision healing were compared between the two groups. Results:The wound healing time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.001).Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in the numerical rating scale(NRS)scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the NRS scores in the two groups decreased, and the NRS scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.001).The total nursing satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P=0.036).The incision healing condition in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P=0.013).Conclusion:Negative pressure wound care can promote the wound healing in patients undergoing general surgery, relieve incision pain, and improve the nursing satisfaction of patients.
