Objective To explore the curative effect of moxibustion(warming meridians)and moist exposed burn ointment(MEBO)(removing decay and promoting muscle regeneration)combined with foam dressing on pressure injuries after stroke. Methods A total of sixty patients with post-stroke pressure injuries who were admitted to hospital from June 2024 to December 2024 were selected.According to the method of random number table, they were divided into the observation group(n=30 cases, receiving moxibustion,MEBO combined with foam dressing)and the control group(30 cases, foam dressing applied externally). The score of Pressure Ulcer Scale for Healing(PUSH)and overall efficacy of two groups were compared. Results The score of PUSH was decreased at 15 days after treatment(P<0.05),and decease was more remarkable in the observation group than that in the control group(P<0.05).The therapeutic effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically sig⁃nificant(86.67%vs.63.33%,P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of moxibustion,ME⁃BO and foam dressing is effective in treating pressure injuries after stroke, and can be popularized as a traditional Chinese Medicine treatment for pressure injuries.
