摘要
安徽省方言资源丰富,但新时代普通话的普及和英语教育对方言的代际传承产生了一定影响。文章以安徽—芜湖方言为例,从家庭语言规划视角出发,对四个三代同堂的芜湖家庭中父母对子女学习普通话、方言及英语的态度和现状进行研究。结果显示,这些家庭普遍认同普通话的主流地位,认可英语的工具性价值,同时也意识到方言的社会文化意义及其在构建身份认同中的重要性。然而,在家庭语言实践中,他们并未有意识地要求或培养孩子使用方言,基本缺乏对方言的语言干预,导致家长的语言意识、语言实践与语言干预之间存在脱节。因此,芜湖方言的代际传承呈现出隔代递减的趋势。最后,针对安徽方言的传承和发展提出相应建议。
Anhui Province is rich in dialect resources,but the popularization of Putonghua and English education in the new era has had a certain impact on the intergenerational transmission of dialects.This study chose the Wuhu dialect,a typical dialect in Anhui,as an example to explore parents'attitudes and current situation towards their children's learning of Putonghua,dialects,and English in four three-generation Wuhu families from the perspective of family language planning.The results of the study show that these families generally agree with the mainstream status of Putonghua and recognize the instrumental value of English,and at the same time realize the socio-cultural significance of dialects and their importance in the construction of identity.However,they do not consciously require or cultivate their children to use the dialect in their family language practices,and basically lack linguistic intervention in the dialect,resulting in a disconnect between parents'language awareness,language practices,and language management.As a result,the intergenerational transmission of the Wuhu dialect shows a decreasing trend across generations.Finally,this study puts forward corresponding suggestions for the sustainable development of the Anhui dialect.
