摘要
家族企业如何通过数字化转型是其实现高质量发展所面临的重要问题。文章基于2012—2022年中国沪深两市家族企业为研究样本,剖析CEO任期对家族企业数字化转型的影响,检验长期导向在两者之间的中介作用,以及管理层股权激励对两者关系的调节作用。结果表明:CEO任期对家族企业数字化转型具有显著的积极影响,同时受到管理层股权激励的正向调节;长期导向在CEO任期与家族企业数字化转型中起部分中介作用;管理层股权激励正向调节CEO任期与家族企业长期导向的关系,也进一步强化了长期导向在CEO任期与数字化转型关系中的中介作用。进一步研究表明,当家族企业冗余资源较多、知识产权保护水平较高以及家族企业规模较小时,CEO任期对家族企业数字化转型的影响更显著。
How family businesses achieve digital transformation is a critical issue for their high-quality development.Based on family businesses listed on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges from 2012 to 2022,this article analyzes the impact of CEO tenure on family business digital transformation,examines the mediating role of long-term orientation between these variables,and investigates the moderating effect of management equity incentives on their relationship.The results show that CEO tenure has a significant positive impact on family business digital transformation,which is further positively moderated by management equity incentives.Long-term orientation plays a partial mediating role between CEO tenure and family business digital transformation.Management equity incentives positively moderate the relationship between CEO tenure and long-term orientation,thereby strengthening the mediating effect of long-term orientation in the relationship between CEO tenure and digital transformation.Further research indicates that the impact of CEO tenure on family business digital transformation is more significant when the enterprise has more redundant resources,a higher level of intellectual property protection,and a smaller business scale.
