摘要
数字化改变了国家贸易格局,成为挖掘全球价值链增长点的新引擎。基于2008―2018年54个国家的面板数据,重新审视制造业数字化对全球价值链分工地位的差异化影响,并探讨产业链韧性在该过程中的调节作用。结果表明:制造业数字化显著提升了全球价值链分工地位,经过一系列内生性和稳健性检验后结论依然成立;异质性分析显示,制造业数字化对全球价值链分工地位的提升效应在中等收入国家、资本密集型行业及研发投入水平高的行业更为明显;机制分析发现,产业链韧性在数字化影响全球价值链分工的过程中发挥正向调节作用,即产业链韧性水平越高,分工地位提升效应越显著;此外,产业链韧性调节作用的发挥存在门槛效应。因此,应全方位推动制造业数字化,并充分识别其行业异质性,同时发挥产业链韧性的调节作用,促进制造业转型升级。
Digitalization in manufacturing drives the dynamic evolution of its division of labor in global value chains,and the relationship between the two is constrained by the impact of industrial chain resilience.Based on panel data from 54 countries spanning 2008 to 2018,this study re-examines the heterogeneous impacts of manufacturing digitalization on their status in the global value chain division of labor and explores the moderating role of industrial chain resilience in this process.The results indicate that manufacturing digitalization significantly enhances the status in the global value chain division of labor,and this conclusion remains valid after a series of endogeneity and robustness tests.Heterogeneity analysis shows that the promoting effect of manufacturing digitalization on the status in global value chain division of labor is more pronounced in middle-income countries,capital-intensive industries,and industries with high research and development investment levels.Mechanism analysis reveals that industrial chain resilience plays a positive moderating role in the process of digitalization affecting global value chain division of labor,meaning that the higher the level of industrial chain resilience,the more significant the effect of improving the division of labor status.Additionally,there exists a threshold effect in the exertion of the moderating role of industrial chain resilience.Therefore,efforts should be made to comprehensively promote manufacturing digitalization,fully identify its industrial heterogeneity,and give play to the moderating role of industrial chain resilience to facilitate the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.
