感应加热55SiCrA水淬火弹簧钢丝自断原因分析

摘要 φ15 mm 55SiCrA感应加热处理水淬火回火弹簧钢丝在收盘处发生自断。对断口附近材料的外观、化学成分、金相组织、硬度分布及断口形貌进行分析。结果表明:断裂起源于材料表面区域,表面无宏观尺寸缺陷,在断裂钢丝表面附近存在组织过烧现象,表层组织脆化,导致自断。断口显示断裂源为脆性沿晶断裂形貌。收盘盘卷后的钢丝在受到拉应力作用下,由钢丝表层脆化组织部位萌生裂纹并扩展而产生自断。 Diameter 15 mm induction heating treated 55SiCrA water quenched and tempered spring wire broke at coil position.The appearance,chemical composition,microstructure,hardness distribution and fracture morphology of material near fracture surface were analyzed.Results show that fracture originated from surface area of material,there were no macroscopic dimensional defects on surface,near surface of broken steel wire,there was phenomenon of overburning of structure,and surface structure became brittle,leading to fracture.The fracture surface shows that fracture source is brittle intergranular fracture morphology.After steel wire is wound and closed,it is subjected to tensile stress,cracks start to form at the embrittlement site on steel wire surface and expand,resulting in fracture.
