A.Vesalius's(1514—1564)De humani corporis fabrica is a seminal work in the history of anatomy, art, and publishing.By personally dissecting cadavers and col-laborating with artists,Vesalius created a series of detailed illustrations that are both scientifically accurate and artistically refined. The illustrations in the book, through precise anatomical observation and artistic representation, break through the limitations of medieval medical illustrations and reveal the true structure of the human body.Prin-ted as woodcut engravings, the illustrations were widely disseminated, highlighting the unique intersection of science and art that the book represents. Its global circulation and collection underscore its lasting impact, which continues to influence medical edu-cation and artistic creation today. This paper approaches the subject through the per-spective of the illustrations, placing them within the historical context of anatomy, and offers a historical analysis of the illustrations, discusses the attribution issue, and ex-plores the global circulation of the book as an artwork.
