Dynamic and polarization-independent high-Q guided resonances in metasurfaces with phase change material

摘要 Using periodic refractive index perturbations,the Brillouin zone is folded,transforming the guided modes in a metasurface into guided resonances with arbitrarily high quality-factors.The incorporation of phase change materials within the metasurface enables dynamic modulation of the guided modes.The system’s symmetry ensures a polarization-independent response under normal incidence.Furthermore,the metasurface exhibits excellent sensing performance,demonstrating its potential for advanced photonic applications.
