摘要
混沌理论认为,复杂系统的整体行为模式通过自组织、迭代、分形结构和对初始条件的敏感性等机制展现出来。这与《云图》所描述的整体性文明图景相符。米切尔通过刻画六个跨越时空的故事,描绘出了个体与个体之间、个体与历史进程之间的深刻联系。文章从混沌理论出发,解读《云图》所表现出的“文明整体观”的内涵及其深刻意义。
Chaos theory suggests that the overall behavioral patterns of complex systems emerge through mechanisms such as self-organization,iteration,fractal structures and sensitivity to initial conditions.This aligns with the holistic vision of civilization depicted in Cloud Atlas.Through six interconnected stories spanning across time and space,Mitchell illustrates the profound connections between individuals and the historical processes they are part of.This paper,based on chaos theory,explores the concept of the“holistic view of civilization”presented in Cloud Atlas and its deeper significance.
