摘要
1935年,中国第一个职业剧团——中国旅行剧团到天津公演,掀起了天津的话剧热潮。同年,天津的话剧爱好者们成立话剧学会,随后话剧社团接连涌现,青年们积极投身到排演话剧中,面向全市举行公演。与此同时,话剧评论文章的发表也进入高潮,话剧艺术逐渐被大众所接受。当时天津发行量最大的报纸之一《大公报》刊登了诸多与话剧相关的报道与消息,对这些内容进行研究有助于探索和还原民国时期天津的话剧活动。
The modern drama movement in Tianjin reached its peak in 1935.At the beginning of that year,China’s first professional theater troupe,the China Traveling Theater Troupe,performed in Tianjin,sparking a surge of interest in modern drama.In the same year,drama enthusiasts in Tianjin established a drama society,followed by the successive emergence of various drama groups.Young people actively participated in rehearsals and staged public performances across the city.Meanwhile,the publication of drama reviews entered a peak period,and modern drama art gradually gained public acceptance.Ta Kung Pao,one of most widely circulated newspapers in Tianjin at the time,published numerous reports and news related to modern drama.Studying these contents helps explore and reconstruct the modern drama activities in Tianjin during the period of the Republica of China.
