摘要
黄芪(Astragalus mongholic Bunge)是一种常用的扶正中药,具有补气固表、托毒排脓等增强机体抵抗力的作用。我所从黄芪根中提到一种多糖化合物(以下简称APS),为葡萄糖和阿拉伯糖的多聚体,为类白色水溶性粉末,具有较强的生物活性,有关它的化学研究将另文发表,现将其药理实验结果报道如下。
A polysaccharide has been isolated from the root of Astragalus mongholicus Bunge which is a polymer of glucose and arabinose.This compound is almost non-toxic on mice and can diminish the toxic effects of CCl_(4),PHA and prednisolone.The intraperitoneal administration of this polysaccharide enlarges the spleen and increases the plasma cell number as well as the amount of RNA,DNA and protein per spleen.It promotes significantly the immune responses of the mice,such as the rate of phagocytosis and the production of plaque-forming cells to sheep red-blood cell.In vitro,it promotes slightly the rate of lymphocyte transformation but inhibits the lymphocyte stimulating effects of PHA and Con A.
