摘要
黑潮变动问题的研究,无论在海流动力学上和生产实践上都具有重要的意义。它的变动,除了对黄海、东海的水文分布有较显著的影响外,还和船舰航行、鱼类洄游、污染物漂移等紧密相关;更重要的是,对我国东部沿海地区的气候变迁(如旱涝现象),也有较大的影响。而后者,在海洋与大气的相互关系中,又是一个头等重要的理论课题。
Based on the GEK data obtained by JMA on a section northwest to the Ryukyu Islands in a period of 20 years(1956-1975),some results from the study of the variatiou of the Kuroshio in the East China Sea were presented.Fluctuations in the velocity,direction and position of the axis,and width of the Kuroshio as well as in its countercurrent were shown in detail.Especially,variations in the surface velocity of the Kuroshio on this section have been compared with those in the wind-stress curl over the sea near the Hawaiian Islands(1950-1972).With a lag of about 2 months,a close relationship between them was obtained.It is considered that this result strongly supports the well-known Sverdrup-relation,and may be useful for further study of the tendency prediction of the Kuroshio.
