“材料科学基础”知识可视化教学与量化评价

摘要 在教育数字化转型背景下,“材料科学基础”课程广泛采用线上线下混合教学模式。在该模式下,学生普遍暴露出浅层学习的问题。为了应对这一挑战,该文设计了多种知识可视化教学模式,创新性采用“积绩差”指标(GPA与课程成绩排名差值)评估教学效果。以简单混合教学模式为参照,教学评价结果显示:接受高阶混合式教学模式的学生期末考试积绩差均值为2.5,而接受翻转课堂教学模式的学生期末考试积绩差均值达10.9。在翻转课堂模式下,学生的知识迁移能力显著提升,可归因于学生可视化学习参与度的提高。学生可视化学习参与度随激励机制强度的提升呈阶梯增长趋势,可视化学习参与度每提升1次/人,积绩差增加约0.94。积绩差因双源数据,可有效剥离学生选课因素的干扰,因此可作为教学评价的平行对比量化指标。 Amidst the digital transformation of education,students in the Fundamentals of Materials Science course are generally exposed to the problem of superficial learning in the blended model of online and offline teaching.In order to address this challenge,this study designs various knowledge visualization teaching models,and innovatively adopts the“cumulative performance difference”index(the difference between GPA and course grade ranking)to evaluate the teaching effect.Taking the simple blended teaching model as a reference,the evalu-ation results show that the mean cumulative performance differential in the final exam of the high blended model is 2.5,while the average value of the flipped classroom is 10.9.The significant improvement of students’knowl-edge transfer ability in the flipped classroom model can be attributed to increased student engagement in visual-ization tasks.Students’visualization participation increases in a stepwise manner with the strength of the incen-tive mechanism,and the cumulative performance difference increases by about 0.94 for each increase of 1 time/person.The cumulative performance difference can be used as a quantitative index for parallel comparison of teaching evaluation because the dual-source data can effectively isolate interference from students’factors of course selection.
