摘要
徽州私刻图书出版业在明代隆庆、万历年间迎来发展高峰,其繁荣也带动了医学图书刊刻的勃兴,徽州私刻医籍以出版规模大、数量多、质量佳、种类丰富著称。通过考察其蓬勃发展背后的经济、政治、社会文化等因素,可知徽商的经营投资、“贾而好儒”的形象为医籍的出版提供了充裕的资金支持,加之在纸、墨等原材料上的自然资源优势以及廉价的刻工雇佣价格,降低了医籍的刊刻成本,同时医籍的商品属性也扩大了其出版销售范围;新安医家的临证学术思想、市民阶层对于医学知识的需求均直接或间接地促进了医学图书的出版;而海外医学交流与医籍贸易的增多,也是促进徽州私刻医籍兴盛的因素之一。多维度探究徽州私刻医籍所隐含的文化现象,可进一步拓宽中医古籍的跨学科研究。
During the Longqing and Wanli periods of the Ming Dynasty,the private book publishing industry in Huizhou reached its peak of development,and its prosperity also led to the flourishing of medical book publishing.Huizhou private medical books are known for their large scale,large quantity,good quality,and rich variety of publications.By analyzing factors such as economy,politics,and social culture behind its vigorous development,it could be found that the business investment of Huizhou merchants and the image of“Jia Er Hao Ru(贾而好儒Merchants adoring Confucianism)”provided ample fi nancial support for the publication of medical books.In addition,the natural resource advantages in paper,ink and other raw materials,as well as the cheap employment prices of engraving workers,also reduced the cost of publishing medical books.At the same time,the commodity attributes of medical books also expanded their scope of publication and sales;the clinical and academic ideas of Xin’an Medical School,as an important source of medical publications,and the demand for medical knowledge among the general public,have directly or indirectly promoted the publication of medical books;The increase in overseas medical exchanges and medical book trade is also one of the factors promoting the prosperity of private medical book engraving in Huizhou.Exploring the cultural phenomena hidden in Huizhou’s privately carved medical books from multiple dimensions,is expected to further broaden interdisciplinary research on ancient Chinese medicine books.
