摘要
独孤师仁仕宦经历与唐初中央政局的变化紧密关联。独孤师仁于唐太宗贞观十三年(639)出使吐谷浑,关于此次出使的背景与目的,史书及墓志均缺载,结合李宽碑志、唐平吐谷浑后两国关系及该时期吐蕃崛起的背景,推测师仁此次出使与是年李宽征讨吐谷浑内部亲吐蕃势力及次年弘化公主和亲有关。贞观末年,独孤师仁任玉华宫留守,随后玉华宫、翠微宫被废为佛寺。传统观点认为废宫为寺是为祈福,但此举背后可能还包含了唐高宗试图走出“贞观光环”的意图。显庆四年(659),独孤师仁以正四品的身份检校屯营,与贞观时期屯营将领品级相比显著下降,折射出此期屯营地位或有所下降,而这与显庆、龙朔年间高宗牢固掌握最高权力密切相关。
The career of Dugu Shiren is closely linked to the changes in the central political landscape during the early Tang Dynasty.In the thirteenth year of Emperor Taizong's Zhenguan era,Dugu Shiren was sent on a diplomatic mission to Tuyunhun.However,the background and purpose of this trip were not mentioned in history books or his epitaph.Analyzing the content of Li Kuan's epitaph and considering the relationship between the two countries of Tang and Tuhunyun after the latter's pacification,and the rise of Tubo in this period,it can be inferred that Dugu Shiren's mission was related to Li Kuan's campaign against pro-Tebetan factions within Tuyuhun that year,as well as the marriage alliance involving Princes Honghua the following year.By the end of the Zhenguan era,Dugu Shiren served as the custodian of Yuhua Palace,which was later converted into a Buddhist temple along with Cuiwei Palace.Traditional views hold that converting palaces into temples was intended for blessing.However,this action may reflect Emperor Gaozong's desire to move beyond the"halo of the Zhenguan era."In the fourth year of the Xianqing era,Dugu Shiren held the position of a fourth-rank official overseeing military camps,a notable decline compared to the military ranks he had held during the Zhenguan period.This reflects a possible decrease in the status of military camps during this time,closely related to Emperor Gaozong's firm grasp of supreme power during the Xianqing and Longshuo years.
